Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and the GDPR for readers in Europe.

What we collect

• If you use the contact form: your name, email address, organisation (if given) and message, so that the office can reply.
• If you subscribe: your email address and the date you confirmed, so that we can send you new pieces.
• When you visit: our hosting and network providers record technical information such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure. We use it briefly to limit abuse of the forms.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or share your information for marketing. Embedded videos load nothing from YouTube until you press play. The site remembers a light or dark reading preference in your own browser; it is not sent to us.

Who processes it for us

The site is hosted by Railway in the Netherlands, served through Cloudflare, and sends email through Resend. Each handles data only to provide that service.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to deal with them and reviewed each year. Subscriber addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only what is needed to make sure you are not emailed again.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to its use, by writing through the contact page. You can unsubscribe from any email with the link it contains. You may also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
